In this course you will learn the proven step-by-step process I use with my 1:1 clients to effectively eliminate GI symptoms & heal their guts, for good.

The format is a slide & video based self-paced course to allow for learning in a way that works for you!

The Course Includes 7 gut-healing modules

Module 1: Nutrition Foundations!

In the first module we dive right into the importance of nutrition foundations for gut health. We go through topics like the gut-brain connection and the HPA axis and you begin to understand how much your brain plays a role in your gut. I discuss different types of stressors and give guidance and resources on how to build stress resiliency. How to support your adrenals, blood sugar and sleep through lifestyle, nutrition and specific supplementation.

Module 2: Rest & Digest & Digestive Hygiene

In the second module we branch off of the first and dive into your nervous system. How to move out of a state of stress and into a state of calm. You will understand how healing the gut is a top-down process starting in the brain, the mouth, and working down from there. After this module you will begin to implement rest & digest & food foreplay into your daily meals. We also touch on the role your oral microbiome plays on your gut and ways to support it.

Module 3: My Three Step Process

This module is where I lay out my effective 3-step process to heal the gut. This is what I use with my 1:1 clients and I share it all with you here. You will have a clear understanding of why most gut healing attempts fail and why healing needs to be done in phases. We discuss the typical timeline of how long the healing process takes and when to know you are ready to transition into “normal” living.

Module 4: Symptoms & Conditions

This module is by far the longest module and the most exciting. You will become knowledgeable on studying your poop from it’s color to it’s shape and knowing what it might indicate. I go over each gut symptom and condition and how to apply the 3-Step protocol to each one. We start with reflux & indigestion (which also includes nausea), then we move into Bloating & Constipation, next we cover Diarrhea, from here we jump into IBS (is IBS really a diagnosis?), different types and uses for fiber and the low-FODMAP diet. We go through IBD, UC, and Crohn’s disease and end on Hemorrhoids. I also touch on my thoughts on wheat & glyphosate and their impact on our gut.

Module 5: Drainage, Detox & the GIMAP

We get into bowel regularity, drainage pathways, and ways to support detoxification and elimination. You’ll gain insight into how your liver & gallbladder affect your gut and how to properly support them. I then take you through a sample functional stool test, the GI-MAP and how I interpret the results and what dietary + supplement protocols I might use during the 3-step process. We’ll talk about things like H.Pylori, SIBO, and Candida overgrowths as well as parasites and cleansing. We finish up going over intestinal-health markers and leaky gut. You will have the opportunity to enroll in a “Test Don’t Guess” package which includes my professional interpretation + recommendations based off your results. This package is only offered to those who have gone through the Heal Your Gut Masterclass and is a phenomenal deal.

Module 6: Food Sensitivity Testing

In this module we go through the MRT LEAP food sensitivity test that I am certified in and run with my 1:1 clients. You will learn when and why you would run this test and how you would apply the results to the 3-step process.

Module 7: Hack Your Cycle, this was a last minute bonus module I just had to include.

Because all too often I see clients whose bowel movements and symptoms are impacted by their menstrual cycle. I teach you how to hack your menstrual cycle to better support your bowel movements & health. You will learn about all 4-phases of your cycle and the foods, supplements, exercise, and other modalities that best support you during each week. I keep these recommendations straightforward and do-able because the last thing you need is more confusion!

My Story

I was personally born with an unhappy gut. From as far back as I can remember I had stomach problems. I remember being on the toilet with painful constipation at 5 years old.

I was diagnosed with IBS around 13 and given the advice to add Metamucil to my orange juice, sound familiar?

When this didn't work I was prescribed medication to take, every day, for the rest of my life. AT THIRTEEN! My mom and I decided not to take the medication and so my journey continued. For years I cut out different types of foods and often would choose not to eat because I was afraid of what it would do to my stomach.

I wouldn't go anywhere without first loading up on pepto bismol, imodium, gas-x, and activated charcoal capsules. It was so anxiety inducing that often the anxiety alone would trigger a stomach attack.

Fast forward a few years and I was eventually diagnosed with SIBO. SIBO stands for small intestinal bacterial overgrowth. I was put on a 2-week course of antibiotics to kill the bad bacteria and I felt better. I thought I was finally fixed.

But eventually, my old symptoms started to reappear. (as they usually do), and I was back to my old ways of food restriction, anxiety and Imodium. How fun. I was diagnosed a second time with SIBO (which usually happens), and I was put on another round of antibiotics. I felt better... for some time... until I didn't.

It wasn't until I became a dietitian and actually dove DEEP into functional nutrition that I truly figured out what was needed to heal my gut and keep it healed for the LONG haul. And I did! And I have since done the same with my 1:1 clients, over and over again.
